Each week, join us for new strength training + interval workouts and yoga classes. From our house to yours, we invite you to challenge yourself, grow your fitness practice, and live a healthier, stronger, feel-great lifestyle.

We agree! We’re used to teaching “live and in-person” to hundreds of students each week. But everything has changed — at least for now. So while we’re safe at home, we need to be creative about working out, both effectively and safely.

From our house, to yours!

Rev U Power Flow Yoga:

These 60 minute power vinyasa yoga flows are fun, creative and super-athletic. All you need is a yoga mat (and blocks if you use them).

Rev U Full Body Strength + Intervals:

These 50-60 minute workouts use body weight and light dumbbells to achieve total body muscle fatigue, while mixing in high intensity cardio intervals. You’ll need a set of light dumbbells (3lb – 12lbs for most people), a mat, and athletic shoes.

yogaXtension™:

This cutting-edge yogaXtension class combines traditional vinyasa flow with resistance bands to turn your yoga practice on fire!

Rev U Quickies:

Life Happens. We don’t always have time for a full hour long workout. These 20-30 minute strength / cardio quickies are small but oh-so mighty. We’ll play around with range of motion, isometrics and time under tension to create muscle fatigue quickly.

Rev U Mix-Ups:

Two is better than one in these yoga/high intensity interval combo classes taught by both Melissa and Matt. Think fun, intense workouts designed to shake up your routine.

How our membership works.

  • Purchase a $20/month membership to access our library of on-demand classes.
  • Our instructors take you through each full workout. Not just a set of exercises, or one yoga flow, but the whole darn thing. You’ll feel like you’re in the studio practicing with us.
  • We focus on controlled movements and clear instructions, keeping you safe (and sweaty).
  • We always offer options: if you’re a beginner we’ll help make the exercises easier; if you’ve got years of training, we’ll be sure to challenge you.
  • Each week we add new classes to our growing library.
  • Our classes are filmed with high definition cameras, professional lighting and clear audio.
  • Flexibility is key: you can cancel your membership anytime, for any reason.

Fitness Instructor

For over 20 years, fitness has been not just Matt’s pastime but his passion. A former “all-I-want-to-do-is-run” athlete, Matt now understands that variety is the foundation for any fitness practice. He often geeks out and reads scientific journals about movement and exercise, sharing and applying what he learns to his workouts. Matt is a Certified Indoor Cycling Instructor and an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor (oh, and a lawyer), and has taught personal trainers, fitness instructors and yoga teachers both online and in-person. Matt is a graduate of the University of Michigan Business School and the University of Virginia School of Law, and enjoys playing the drums. He lives in Chicago with his wife (the marvelous, motivational Melissa!), three children, and two dogs.

Make no mistake, Melissa is not your average yoga instructor. A 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (and well on her way to 500 hours!), Melissa’s classes are vigorous, athletic, creative, and motivational. She inspires students to find their own personal power through dynamic and functional movement, soulful flow, and deep breath work. While Melissa deeply honors the beautiful traditions of yoga, she is known for her modern approach to sequencing; even incorporating strength training and rock-n-roll music! Melissa holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago. In addition to teaching yoga, Melissa is a practicing psychotherapist, habits coach, author, wife to Matt (the fittest guy around!), and mom to three amazing kids.
